Un délicieux moment, tant gustatif que grâce au service et à l'ambiance qui règne dans ce très chouette établissement.
Seul bémol, les épices.
Notre palais n'y est pas habitué et nous n'avons pas pu finir nos plats.
Vraiment dommage !

We came to visit Oslo from the uk and wanted a substantial dinner and Indian street food did not disappoint. We arrived on opening at 3pm and for a while were the only people in there. The food was beautiful, I was going to order a tika main but was warned it was spicy and whilst I can handle some spice I decided to go for a butter chicken instead. The chicken was so tender and the sauce was delicious. The cheese nan and garlic nan were also wonderful. The server was very friendly and we were in and out within an hour.

We walked here and Google maps tried to take us a really funny way to get there as I didn’t realise certain roads / bridges were open- we ignored it anyway so the walk was 15 minutes from the centre not 55.

The tea here was absolutely fantastic—truly reminiscent of the flavors back home! The blend of spices was perfect, especially when paired with milk. We enjoyed it so much that we had to order it twice!

The value for money is unbeatable, and the flavors are spot on for our dishes. The service was excellent, with warm smiles all around.

We'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

There was good and bad with this place.

For indian food the good was that it was really reasonably priced, not heavy, and pretty accessible.

The bad I think is the service is just wildly inconsistent. We walked in and they gave us a hard time for not having a reservation even though the restaurant was mostly empty.

Then the actual service really depended on who was serving you. Some of the servers were gerat, some were not so great.

The puchakas were not good. It is a nice touch to give an amusee of dahi puri but man, those puris are not real puri.

The dal makahni was quite decent, maybe needed a little more punch of flavor but quite good for restaurant indian food.

I am ethnic Indian. Best Desi food I have had in Norway, and I have been here since 1972. Girl seating us and managing counter was very nice. Excellent location in the heart of Oslo's new warf. The service was all over place. They did not know where to put food as the table were small. We had to suggest they bring in an extra table, no one asked us what to drink when seating. We grabbed a person and asked. Clearing table was also all over the place. But the food was worth ignoring all of this. They are new and will learn. Kudos to the chef

I had the chance to try their tasting menu, and it was an absolutely magical experience. The food is beyond delicious. The flavors melt so beautifully together. I have nothing but compliments for the chef!
The portion size was way more than enough too!
If I could be a bit pretentious, I would appreciate it if the staff would be a bit more organized and would pay a tiny bit more attention to the tables.
Either way I am glad to come back and eat a proper dinner as well!
