Paper Plant Co. in Chinatown is a cozy stationery and coffee shop that's a must-visit for stationery enthusiasts and coffee lovers. Their selection includes unique rubber stamps, beautiful journals, and high-quality coffee. I particularly love their store stamp and the recently launched stamp sets featuring Vincent, the adorable dog on their logo. The shop's inviting atmosphere and its location in vibrant Chinatown make for a delightful experience. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Paper Plant Co. is definitely worth a stop. oooh! Donot forget to get your passport for the stamp rally from Aug-Dec 2024 ❤️😋

If you are interested in high quality and cute Japanese stationery, I recommend this place.! It's not a big store but it has a wide selection of products.
The staff are all friendly and helpful. I also recommend the coffee stand inside the store.

Paper Please! A little shop with big love. A great selection of stickers and cards by independent artists, thoughtful stationary supplies, and little tools you didn't know you needed in your stationary collection.

The vibe is open and hip. Stationary types range from quirky and fun to almost naughty. Also in stock are Chinatown postcards and money envelopes, books about stationary and paper design, local art and of course merch.

And soon! Coffee and espresso! I talked with the woman behind the counter and she told me there are ideas to create a quiet coffee drinking and stationary using space upstairs. 🤩

Parking in and around Chinatown is challenging, but this stationary store is a gem and totally worth visiting!

Many hard to find Japanese stationery/writing tools (Sailor, Hobonichi) + accessories tucked into a teeny tiny shop. Lovely curated selection of cards. Sailor dipping fountain pens and shelf of bottled inks. Store setup is a little confusing because the shop shares space with a coffee counter (Thank You Coffee). Some goods (calendars, candles, chocolates, tumblers) are in the coffee room and other items (notepads, pen inks, stamps, hand drawn Chinatown postcards) are next door in a separate room. Usually a cluster of people waiting for coffee orders on sidewalk. If you want to buy an item from the coffee room you still have to wait in the line on sidewalk with people ordering coffee so be ready to wait in line. Usually nice clientele tho so i don't mind the wait unless I'm in a rush.

Cute little stationery store that shares the space with a coffee shop. They have cards, postcards, pens, notebooks, and other things. Friendly staff. Would recommend.

If you want to experience pure joy opening up your stationery package, look no further! My order was so thoughtfully and beautifully packed that I almost didn't feel like opening it hehe 🙂 They also included their shop sticker (pasted on my TN kraft folder already ;)) and couple of sample freebies from OURS new collection. Don't remember the last time I received a package that instantly put a BIG SMILE on my face.
Did I mention that the shipping was lightning fast? Placed my order on Wednesday afternoon and it made its way to bay area by Friday morning. I haven't been to the brick and mortar store (yet) but cant wait to visit next time I'm in LA area!
